Our Policy and Business Principles: PSI’s has a Group-wide framework to manage its responsibilities in the form of the Policy and Business Principles. These documents present the values, standards and performance expectations that all PSI’s divisions and subsidiaries are to uphold. The Policy sets out the high-level priorities and commitments of the Management Board. The Business Principles communicate the expectations of the Management Board with respect to how the Group and its operating divisions and subsidiaries are expected to operate and behave. Each constituent entity within the Group is responsible for implementation of PSI’s Policy and Business Principles, and for supplementing this with relevant sector specific standards and supporting policies and procedures for their day to day operations.
Compliance: The Compliance Department audits all global compliance activities. It provides guidance, training and advice on compliance issues to employees. The Department works closely with traders and credit teams. It manages our Know Your Counterparty (KYC) process. Compliance representatives in the main trading offices support the trading teams.
The Code of Business Conduct :The Code of Business Conduct sets out precisely what is expected of each employee and how s/he should represent our business. It cites legal obligations and presents examples of best practice.
Know Your Counterparty (KYC) :We require full disclosure from all counterparties and customers. The Compliance Department must approve any new counterparty before a transaction can take place. Every prospective counterparty is required to complete a standard KYC questionnaire.
